I am delighted to return to the OJR HS team as a Latin teacher in the school district this school year.  

 

Education:

I received my Bachelors Degree in Latin from Dickinson College and completed my Masters in Education at Saint Joseph's University.  I have a certification in Latin and Elementary Education.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught for 19 years in a wide variety of schools.  I started my teaching career in Philadelphia Public School District. I taught a class at Conestoga HS while finishing my masters program and taught middle school English and social studies at a small private school.  Most of my teaching career was spent at Pennfield Middle School in North Penn SD, where I taught Latin for 8 years.  I then took a brief hiatus to stay home and raise my three daughters.  When I returned to teaching I taught part time at Radnor Middle School.  I am delighted return to OJR for my eighth year as a part of the OJR family.

Family:

I live in Wayne with my husband and three daughters.  I would really call my home town Valley Forge because I live next to Valley Forge Park.  I enjoy running in the park when I am not coaching lacrosse or driving my girls to their various activities.  We enjoy camping, hiking, biking, visiting museums and going to the beach.

Extra Curricular:

I personally enjoy reading, running, coaching lacrosse and spending time with my family.
