John Yount
Chief of Police/Director of Security and Safety
John Yount joined the OJR Police and Security Department in 2021 and was promoted to chief in January of 2023. Chief Yount spent 4 years in the US Navy where he was responsible for providing shipboard security. After leaving the military, he spent 4 years doing underwater construction. Chief Yount then joined the PA State Police. During his time with the state police, he was a patrol officer, detective, firearms instructor, school resource officer and member of the Special Emergency Response Team (SERT). After retiring from the state police in 2014, Chief Yount worked as the Director of Safe Schools for the Governor Mifflin School District and in 2019, joined the University of Valley Forge, serving as their Director of Security.

Joseph Inzone
Security Captain
Captain Inzone joined the OJR School District in 2015. Prior to that, Inzone owned and operated his own business for many years. In addition to his service here at OJR, Inzone also serves his community through his involvement with the Ridge Fire Company as a member of the Fire Police. Captain Inzone holds a number of certifications dealing with school security and emergency services, including his numerous fire service trainings and both the National School Resource Officer certification and the National School Security Officer certification.

Melissa Sabo
School Security Officer
Officer Sabo joined the OJR team in 2020 as a paraprofessional. She was hired as a Security Officer in 2021. After graduating from OJR, she served 4 years in the US Army - Military Intelligence. Officer Sabo has received PA certification as a School Security Officer. She has also volunteered in the district and community with Odyssey of the Mind, as well as an all-girls BSA troop, and is a social member at Norco Fire Company.

Andrew Kopack
School Security Officer
Officer Kopack joined the OJR School District in 2016. Prior to that, Kopack worked for Lockheed Martin as a security officer where he built 30 years of experience in the security field. Prior to his time with Lockheed Martin, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years. Kopack also holds a certification from the National Association of School Resource Officers.
